What to ask for from my smart home?

Indeed, a smart home provides us with the ability to manage the lights and electric blinds within our living space. But is that all? Absolutely not! A smart home offers a plethora of benefits! It enhances our home experience, ensures our safety, promotes energy efficiency and comfort! All these advantages are made possible through the wonders of home automation.

    Automation

What does automation entail? It refers to the process where all the habitual tasks we execute in our homes are performed autonomously, often without our realization that they’ve been completed. Let's elaborate on its meaning and implementation?

    Lighting Control

Gain complete control over all lighting fixtures through custom panels, standard switches, and a mobile app. Set an unlimited number of timers for each light, such as turning on outdoor lights at sunset and off at sunrise. Adjustments for the start and end of timer are automatic and limitless, adapting to changing sunset times.

    Electric Shutter Control

Operate your home’s blinds using custom panels, standard switches, and the app. Close all blinds simultaneously when leaving the house. Set unlimited timers for each shutter, specifying when to open or close certain blinds on Saturdays. The app provides animations of shutters opening or closing and indicates the shutter’s status.

    Air Conditioner Control

Manage air conditioners via the app, adjusting temperature, wind speed, and setting unlimited timers for each unit. For instance, schedule when to turn on the air conditioner and for how long. Turn off all air conditioners with a single switch when leaving the house. Set operation hours for each air conditioner, automatically and without limitation, according to sunrise and sunset.

    Door Status

If you forget to close the front door, the system will notify you. Install hidden magnetic switches in doors and window frames to ensure all are closed before sleeping or leaving the house.

    Automatic Door Locking

Install an electric bolt on the door for automatic locking before bedtime, eliminating the need for manual locking or keys.

    Bathroom Heater Status

To avoid forgetting to turn off the bathroom heater, the system can be set to turn it off after a certain period, enhancing safety and saving electricity.

    Towel Dryer Operation

Connect a towel dryer to the system to automatically control its operation hours, duration, and seasons, saving electricity and extending the product’s lifespan.

    Water Damage Prevention

Install an electric water tap in the main water body to automatically disconnect the water when leaving the house and reconnect upon return, preventing potential water damage.

    Electrical Outlet Disconnection

Disconnect electrical outlets connected to potentially dangerous appliances when leaving the house to prevent accidents.

    Alarm System Control

The system can control the alarm, allowing you to lock the house and set the alarm via the app or a normal circuit breaker, saving the need for an alarm system coder.

    Lockout Scenario

This scenario enables a general house closure, shutting all blinds, lights, air conditioners, automatically locking doors, and triggering the alarm system.

    Garden Watering

The system can manage garden and pot watering, saving the need for an additional irrigation computer and providing options like phone control and setting different irrigation profiles for all seasons.

    Insect and Mosquito Control:

Install a controlled electric outlet for a blue bulb insecticide and mosquito repellent, allowing the system to automatically turn it on and off at suitable hours.

    Fresh Air

Install a blower or fan to ventilate the tiled roof, preventing hot air accumulation and bringing fresh air into the house. The system can automatically turn on the ventilation in the roof every day in the evening or early morning in appropriate seasons when the outside air is cooler.

    Roof Sprinkler

Consider installing sprinklers on the roof to cool it significantly. The system can automatically turn on the sprinkler during peak heat hours in hot seasons or on particularly hot days.

    Flexibility

The system should be flexible to allow changes even after construction and electrical work are finished, as needs may only become apparent after living in the house for a few months.

    Privacy

Choose a system that doesn’t depend on the cloud to prevent personal information exposure to third parties.

    User Independence

Ensure the system allows you to make all necessary settings and changes independently and simply, similar to any other operation on your personal computer.

    To sum it up

Selecting an appropriate smart home system can lead to significant savings, enhanced comfort, and improved security. These benefits can quickly offset the initial investment.
