    In today’s climate of rising electricity rates, energy conservation, consumption management, and reducing maintenance expenses are crucial. It’s common knowledge that electricity and air conditioning maintenance represent significant costs for public buildings.

    Automata provides a solution to cut down on these maintenance expenses by offering comprehensive control over the building’s lighting, air conditioning, water faucets, and doors.

    Such centralized management leads to substantial reductions in both electricity and water expenditures, safeguards electrical devices from potential damage, and mitigates risks associated with water system malfunctions.


    Electricity savings are realized through daily management and automation of the building's operations. Specifically, the system allows you to schedule the activation of air conditioners and the shutdown of all lights and air conditioning units. It also controls the building's functions outside of regular business hours and during holidays.

    Air conditioners

    The system enables you to set restrictions on the operational hours of air conditioners. Air conditioning units will be operable only during designated hours, which can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, or yearly basis. For instance, within a school setting, the system allows for the customization of air conditioning schedules in each classroom, tailored to the specific timetable and requirements. As an example, if school concludes at three o'clock on Mondays, the air conditioning will automatically shut off at that time. This feature also ensures that air conditioners remain off on weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. For added flexibility and convenience, the activation of air conditioners outside the preset hours is reserved for authorized individuals, who can override the settings via a dedicated application on their smartphone or computer.


    Lighting

    The system is designed to manage the lighting in each zone based on operational hours, ensuring that lights are automatically switched off after activities conclude, including those in communal areas. The system's responses can be customized for various scenarios. Additionally, a system manager or other authorized individuals have the capability to activate the lights anytime, even beyond regular hours, via a mobile or computer application.

    Preventing water damage
    To mitigate water wastage and potential water damage, it's advisable to shut off the building's main water valve during non-business hours, including after work, on weekends, and holidays. The building's automated system ensures all faucets are closed, safeguarding against incidents such as taps being inadvertently left open or pipe bursts when the premises are unoccupied. This proactive measure allows for the prompt detection and resolution of any plumbing issues upon resuming activities, without incurring damage.

    Access Control
    Controlled door management enhances security, convenience, and accessibility. Doors throughout the facility can be scheduled to unlock at predetermined times and secure themselves when activities conclude. Beyond programmed schedules, doors can be manually unlocked by an authorized individual through an application, a proximity sensor, or a code entered into an adjacent keypad. Additionally, door access may be contingent upon approval from a receptionist. For instance, in an educational setting, students can enter their computer lab without waiting for the instructor, as the door will unlock automatically at the set time. Moreover, access to areas containing valuable assets, such as storage rooms, server rooms, and refrigerators, can be regulated. In situations that demand immediate attention, SMS alerts can be dispatched to responsible parties. Regardless of these measures, doors can always be opened from the inside in a standard manner.
