This project is an example of harnessing the Automata system for the benefit of significant energy efficiency.

What does the project include?

The project entails deploying the system across 28 residential flats, thereby enabling over 230 students, which equates to 230 simultaneous system users!

Each apartment requires a timer for both the electric boiler and the air conditioner specifically for Saturdays. Moreover, it’s essential to maintain timers for these air conditioners and electric boilers, on weekdays as well.

The requirement was to restrict the usage of the air conditioning and electric heater to specific hours during the week, and to prevent leaving them running when no one is present in the room.

The solution

With Automata, Students have the flexibility to set their own air conditioning schedules for Saturday and holidays, tailored to their individual needs, on any day of the week. Likewise, each student is permitted to operate the air conditioner or boiler in their apartment only during the time slots pre-approved by the principal using the application.

Furthermore, the system administrator has the ability to systematically turn off all air conditioners and electric boilers, a feature that comes in handy during vacation periods.

The system is designed to automatically recognize the start times of Saturday or holidays, eliminating the need for manual readjustment of each timer. This ensures a fully automated operation.
